Check that no diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) are stored.

The Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) Module must always be replaced if fault codes cannot be erased, or if the SRS Module shows mechanical damage, or if damage can be stated in the floor area around the SRS Module (risk of mechanical weakness with regards to its mounting point.

If the vehicle is equipped with Volvo On Call, the backup battery and the signal wiring from SRS to TEM must be checked.

The vehicle must be subject to a road test, in order to verify full steering and braking functionality.

CHECK 

VEHICLES, SUBJECTED TO A COLLISION, BUT WHERE NO PYROTECHNICAL DEVICE HAS DEPLOYED.
