Components That Must Be Checked And, When Necessary, Be Replaced With New

Check that no diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) are stored.

Dashboard, speakers and panels below the dashboard, (visible damage)

Windscreen (cracks, damages)

Seat belt anchor points, in body frame or in seat (deformations)

Floor carpet and footrest (cracks or damage)

All pedals (cracks, damages)

Sun roof

Damaged wiring

Supplemental Restraint System (SRS), refer to section "Additional information".

Check front seats and replace with new, if deformation damage has occurred. Check both WHIPS elements.

Second row seat. Check and replace with new seat if deformation damage has occurred.

Third row seat. Check and replace with new seat if deformation damage has occurred.

If the Inflatable Curtain IC has deployed, the collision sensors in B- and C-pillars must be replaced as well as any damaged Inflatable Curtain IC fastener.

Any list or panel, and headliner, in case damage from pyrotechnical deployment has occurred.

Check that the protective ring located above the fuel tank's fuel pump is fitted securely and is intact.
