REMOVAL

NOTE:

ALL VEHICLES

Perform battery disconnecting and connecting, refer to: BATTERY DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING

Remove steering wheel, refer to: STEERING WHEEL

Remove panel steering column, refer to: PANEL STEERING COLUMN

Remove instrument panel lower, refer to: INSTRUMENT PANEL LOWER

Remove the screws.

Disconnect the connectors.

Remove the part carefully

WARNING:

The steering column may contain pyrotechnic components.

Disconnect the connector.

Remove the screw.

Torque: steering column to steering gear (steering shaft joint), 24Nm

Remove the screws.

Torque: M8, 24Nm

CAUTION:

Make sure that the sharp edge does not damage the surrounding component.

INSTALLATION

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
