Telematics Module (TEM) (4/117) [2019-2022]: Description

The Telematics Module (TEM) handles the following:

• Volvo On Call services.
• Connection to the Sensus Connect cloud when a P-SIM card is applied.
• Connection to the Sensus Connect cloud via tethering to a mobile phone.

The TEM contains the telematics module backup battery and a T-SIM card for connection to the Volvo On Call server. A P-SIM card may be applied into the external SIM card reader directly connected to the TEM.
