Control Of The Climate Unit
The climate unit is controlled by the climate control module (CCM) and the center console switch module (CCSM).
Climate Control Module (CCM)
The climate control module (CCM) is located on the climate control unit and controls both the front and the rear climate control unit via LIN. CCM is the same version regardless of whether it is 2-zone or 4-zone climate unit - only the software is different.
The climate control module (CCM) communicates via the networks Body CAN, LIN 17 and LIN 18. The control module has no physical buttons and controls. Control of the climate unit takes place via menus in the center console display (CCD), voice control as well as via a switch on the center console switch module (CCSM). The climate control module (CCM) communicates with center console display (CCD) via the central electronic module (CEM) and the center console switch module (CCSM) via LIN.

- Button for defrosting the windscreen
- Button for defrosting the rear window and door mirrors.
- Interior temperature sensor
The center console switch module (CCSM) is located in the dashboard and contains the passenger compartment temperature sensor and switch for the climate unit. The front and rear defroster can be controlled via the center console display (CCD) but can also be activated using a switch on the center console switch module (CCSM).
The climate control module (CCM) and center console switch module (CCSM) communicate via LIN 17.
Control via center console display (CCD)
The climate unit can also be controlled via menus in the center console display (CCD). Many of the climate system's functions can also be activated via voice control. The functions are divided into three main menus:
- Parking climate
- Main climate
- Rear climate
