Central Electronic Module (CEM) [2019-2022]: Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE:

The following steps are only necessary when installing a new component.

Order and download the appropriate software according to VIDA/SOFTWARE.

Calibration according to: Diagnostics / Components / Control modules/ Central Electronic Module (CEM) / Diagnostic sequences / Calibration of brake pedal sensor and brake pedal angle sensor

NOTE:

This step is only necessary when installing a new component and the vehicle is equipped with parking heater, such as a fuel operated auxiliary heater or a high voltage coolant heater HVCH.

Clear parking climate history data according to: Diagnostics / Components / Control modules / Central Electronic Module (CEM) / Diagnostic sequences / Clear pre-conditioning statistics
