Diagnostic Information
The drive mode selector wheel has a simplified built-in diagnostic system, which can monitor a limited amount of errors. All diagnostic data is sent to the diagnostic tool via the Infotainment Head Unit (IHU). Diagnostic data can include error information, part numbers, calibration results, and parameters.
The ignition knob does not have a built-in diagnostic system. The Central Electronic Module (CEM) monitors the knob and sets DTCs and readable parameters.
The electronic parking brake switch and auto hold button do not have a built-in diagnostic system. The Vehicle Dynamics Domain Master (VDDM) / Brake Control Module 2 (BCM2) monitors the switch and button and sets DTCs and readable parameters.
