Steering Wheel Module (SWM) [2018-2022]: Removal
NOTE:
Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
NOTE:
Make sure that the road wheels are in the straight ahead position.
Set the vehicle to Inactive mode, described in user mode. Refer to: USAGE MODE
Remove the following items:
- steering wheel. Refer to: STEERING WHEEL
- Panel steering column. Refer to: PANEL STEERING COLUMN
CAUTION:
Do not turn the component.
Disconnect the connectors.
Remove the cable harness clips.
Remove the screw.
Torque: Steering wheel module, to Steering column, 6Nm
CAUTION:
Observe caution when carrying out this step.
- Release the catch.
- Remove the marked part.
