The On-Board Charger Module (OBC) converts the power supplied from the electrical vehicle inlet EVI from 230 / 115 V AC to 400 V DC. The OBC reads the temperature at the EVI and controls the locking motor for the EVI and the LEDs that notify the vehicle charge level.
