Backup Battery

BACKUP BATTERY





1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the Vehicle Tracking Module (VTM) (1) from the vehicle Vehicle Tracking Module (VTM).





3. Remove the backup battery cover (1).





4. Position the backup battery (1) next to the VTM leaving the backup battery connected.






NOTE: Do not pull on the wires to disconnect the connector from the VTM doing so will damage VTM or the battery connector.

5. Grab the backup battery connector by the connector end (1) and gently wiggle back and forth while pulling up.
