Brake Signal: Adjustments

Brake Pedal Height
1. Measure the distance from the center of the brake pedal pad. to the dash panel.

If the distance measures 193-196mm (7.60-7.72 in), brake pedal height is within specification.

If the brake pedal height is not within specification, proceed with step 2.

2. Loosen the locknut and turn the master cylinder push rod fork end bracket until the brake pedal height is within specification.

3. Tighten master cylinder pushrod fork locknut.

BOO Switch
1. Loosen the Brake On/Off (BOO) switch locknut.

2. Turn the BOO switch until it contacts the brake pedal, then turn it an additional half turn.

3. Tighten the BOO switch locknut to 14-17 Nm (10-13 lb ft).
