- Key Off.

- Disconnect PCM from vehicle harness.

NOTE: This erases continuous memory, and sets the P1000 code.

- Key On, Engine Off.

- Press RESET button and wait 5 seconds for initialization.

- Wiggle Test.

- Are any fault memory LEDs on?

Yes -- PRESS RESET button. CONTINUE to test until intermittent is isolated.

No -- EI - High Data Rate 4: REMOVE jumper wire between IDM and IDM TACH. GO to Z101. Z101
