- Key Off.

- Disconnect PCM from vehicle harness.

NOTE: This erases continuous memory, and sets the P1000 code.

- Measure the resistance from SPOUT jack to Pin 36 at the PCM breakout box.

- Is resistance less than 5 ohms?

YES -- GO to Z181. Z181

NO -- SERVICE open SPOUT circuit in harness between PCM and ICM.
