- Key Off.

- Disconnect the PCM from vehicle's harness.

NOTE: This erases continuous memory, and sets the P1000 code.

- Measure the resistance from IGN GND jack to VPWR jack.

- Is resistance greater than 10K ohms?

YES -- REPLACE ICM.

NO -- SERVICE short in IGN GND circuit harness.
