Test D: The Speed Control Does Not Disengage When The Clutch Is Applied

PINPOINT TEST D: THE SPEED CONTROL DOES NOT DISENGAGE WHEN THE CLUTCH IS APPLIED

Normal Operation
The clutch pedal speed control deactivator switch, normally closed, supplies a ground signal to the PCM through circuit CE904 (GN/VT). When the clutch pedal is applied, the clutch pedal speed control deactivator switch moves to the open position causing the PCM to lose the ground signal and deactivate the speed control. Ground for the clutch pedal speed control deactivator switch is supplied by circuit GD134 (BK/VT).

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- Clutch pedal speed control deactivator switch (manual transaxle)
- PCM
