Removal and Installation

1. Remove the wheel and tire. For additional information, refer to Wheels and Tires Removal and Replacement.

2. Remove the brake hose retaining clip and hose from the support bracket.

3. NOTICE: Do not allow the caliper to hang by the brake hose or damage to the hose can occur.

Remove the 2 brake caliper anchor plate bolts.

- Discard the bolts.

- Support the brake caliper and anchor plate assembly using mechanic's wire.

- To install, tighten new bolts to 125 Nm (92 lb-ft).

4. Remove the brake disc.

5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Apply brakes several times to verify correct brake operation.
