Steering Mounted Controls Assembly: Service and Repair

STEERING SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait for 1 min or more.

2. Remove the driver-side air bag module. Driver-Side Air Bag Module Removal/Installation

3. Remove the steering wheel. Without Advanced Keyless Entry And Push Button Start System With Advanced Keyless Entry And Push Button Start System

4. Remove the screw.






5. Remove the wiring harness from the hook.






6. Remove the screw.






7. Remove the steering cover.

8. Remove the screw.






9. Disconnect the connector.

10. Remove the steering switch pins from the steering wheel.






11. Remove the steering switch.

12. Install in the reverse order of removal.
