Ignition Key Switch Test

  1. Remove the dashboard lower cover and knee bolster.
  2. Disconnect the 8-pin connector from the main wire harness. See Fig 1 .
  3. There should be continuity between the No. 7 and No. 8 terminals when the ignition key is inserted in to the ignition key cylinder. There should be no continuity with the ignition key removed.
