Security Control Module Input Test

NOTE: Different wires with the same color have been a suffix number. For example, Yellow/Green(1) and Yellow/Green(2) are not the same wires.

Remove glove box. Disconnect security system control module 12-pin and 18-pin connectors. Inspect connectors to ensure terminals are making good contact. If terminals are bent, loose or corroded, repair as necessary and recheck system. If terminals are okay, remove fuse No. 37 (15-amp) from under-hood fuse block. Using a Digital Volt/Ohmmeter, perform SECURITY CONTROL MODULE INPUT TEST. See Fig 1 and Fig 2 . If input test is okay, replace control module. When test is complete, install fuse No. 37 (15-amp) in under-hood fuse block.
