Idle Speed: Notes

Idle speed is controlled by the Idle Air Control Valve (IACV) and fast idle control valve. The IACV controls amount of air into the intake manifold, according to input signals received from the PCM. When the IACV is activated, it operates to maintain proper idle speed.
