Code P0328 - Front Knock Sensor High Input

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1995 Acura 2.5TL. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Connect and operate scan tester, following manufacturer's instructions. Clear codes. Turn ignition on. Retrieve codes. If Code P0328 appears, go to next step. If Code P0328 does not appear, problem is intermittent. Inspect for loose sensor, poor connections, or loose wires associated with front knock sensor, then repair as necessary.
  2. Turn ignition off. Unplug front knock sensor connector. Measure resistance between sensor terminal and ground. If resistance is 504-616 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is not 504-616 ohms, replace knock sensor.
  3. Reconnect wiring to knock sensor. Measure resistance between 12-pin ECM connector terminal No. 2 (Red/Blue wire) and 26-pin ECM terminal A26 (Brown/Black wire). If resistance is not 504-616 ohms, repair open Red/Blue wire between knock sensor and ECM. If resistance is 504-616 ohms, temporarily substitute known good ECM, then retest system.
