Ignition Coil Test

- Turn ignition off. Disconnect ignition coil 3-pin connector. Measure primary winding resistance between ignition coil connector terminal No. 1 (Black/Yellow wire) and terminal No. 3 (Blue wire). Resistance should be .34-.42 ohm at 68°F (20°C).
- Measure secondary winding resistance between ignition coil connector middle terminal No. 2 (Black/Yellow wire) and secondary terminal (coil tower). Resistance should be 17,100-20,900 ohms at 68°F (20°C). Replace coil if resistance is not within specifications.
