Power Transistor

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1999 Acura 3.0CL and 1999 Acura 2.3CL. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
CAUTION: Be careful not to damage locking tab when disconnecting and connecting wire terminal. Insulate Orange/Black wire terminal from body until testing is completed.

Remove Orange/Black wire terminal from power transistor 3-pin connector. Connect 1.2-3.4 watt bulb as shown. See Fig 1 . Reconnect 3-pin connector to power transistor. Turn ignition on. If blower motor runs, power transistor is okay. If blower motor does not run, replace power transistor.
