Confirming Wake-Up Mode
After confirming sleep mode, turn each of the following switches to ON position and wake up each multiplex control unit.
Door multiplex control unit switches:
- Driver's door switch.
- Driver's door key cylinder switch (LOCK/UNLOCK).
- Driver's door lock switch (LOCK/UNLOCK).
- Driver's door lock knob switch (LOCK/UNLOCK).
- Trunk opener switch
- Power window master switch, except driver's switch. Driver's multiplex control unit switches:
- Headlight switch.
- Front fog light switch.
- Instrument cluster lights, brightness control.
- Left rear door switch.
- Left rear door lock knob switch (UNLOCK).
- Trunk key cylinder switch.
- Driver's seat belt switch.
- Windshield wiper/washer switch, except MIST switch.
- Brake switch.
- Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS).
- Parking brake switch.
- A/T gear position switch (REVERSE). Passenger's multiplex control unit switches:
- Hood switch.
- Trunk latch switch.
- Radio switch.
- Trunk opener main switch.
- Front passenger's door switch.
- Front passenger's key cylinder switch (LOCK/UNLOCK).
- Front passenger's door lock switch (LOCK/UNLOCK).
- Front passenger's door lock knob switch (UNLOCK).
- Right rear door switch.
- Right rear door lock knob switch (UNLOCK).
- Keyless entry transmitter (LOCK, UNLOCK, TRUNK, and PANIC buttons).
- Rear window defogger switch.
- Engine oil pressure switch (ON or OFF).
- Generator ("L" terminal).
If all applications operate properly, wake-up mode is okay. If any multiplex control unit is faulty and cannot wake up, several parts of multiplex system will not operate at the same time.
