Left Mirror Inoperative (3.5RL Without Memory)
- Connect a jumper wire between power mirror switch connector terminal No. 6 (Yellow/Black wire) and terminal No. 10 (Brown wire). See Figure. Connect a jumper wire between terminal No. 5 (Blue wire) and ground. Turn ignition on. Left mirror should tilt down. If mirror does not tilt down, check for open in Blue wire. If wire is okay, go to next step.
- Move jumper wire from terminal No. 5 (Brown wire) to terminal No. 1 (Yellow wire). Left mirror should swing left. If mirror does not swing left, check for open in Yellow wire. If wire is okay, check left mirror motor. See POWER MIRROR MOTOR TEST under COMPONENT TESTS. If mirror does not tilt down and does not swing left, check for open in Brown wire. If mirror operates properly, check power mirror switch. See POWER MIRROR SWITCH TEST under COMPONENT TESTS.
