Remote Transmitter

NOTE:
Procedures must be performed within the stated time limits. Three remote transmitters may be coded into system. If a fourth code is entered, the first code will be erased.
- Turn ignition switch to ON position. Within 4 seconds, depress remote transmitter LOCK or UNLOCK button while aiming it at receiver (in passenger's multiplex control unit). Within 4 seconds, turn ignition off.
- Within 4 seconds, repeat step 1 an additional 3 times. Before turning ignition off during final repeat of step 1 , depress LOCK or UNLOCK button, confirm operation of door lock actuators and within 4 seconds, depress LOCK or UNLOCK button again. Within 10 seconds, aim remote transmitters to be coded at receiver and depress LOCK or UNLOCK buttons, verifying operation of door lock actuators. Turn ignition off and remove key. Verify proper keyless entry operation using each remote transmitter programmed.
