Diagnostic Circuit Check: Notes

NOTE: Circuit tests are written specifically for use with Honda PGM tester. Other scan tools can be used but may have limited functions.
WARNING: Codes must be retrieved and cleared while performing the following DTC test procedures. Refer to RETRIEVING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES  and PCM RESET PROCEDURE/CLEARING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.
CAUTION: When substituting a known-good PCM, immobilizer code must be rewritten using Honda PGM tester, or engine will not start.
NOTE: Use illustration to identify PCM connectors. See Figure.
