Diagnostic Circuit Check: Notes

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Acura 3.5RL, 2003 Acura 3.5RL, 2002 Acura 3.5RL, and 2001 Acura 3.5RL. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE: Circuit tests are written specifically for use with Honda PGM tester. Other scan tools can be used but may have limited functions.
WARNING: Codes must be retrieved and cleared while performing the following DTC test procedures. Refer to RETRIEVING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES  and PCM RESET PROCEDURE/CLEARING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.
CAUTION: When substituting a known-good PCM, immobilizer code must be rewritten using Honda PGM tester, or engine will not start.
NOTE: Use appropriate illustration to identify PCM connectors. See Figure -Figure . For corresponding wiring diagrams, see appropriate wiring diagram under ENGINE PERFORMANCE in SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS.
