Parking Pin Switch

  1. Remove front console. See FRONT CONSOLE  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Disconnect parking pin switch 3-pin harness connector located near shift lock solenoid harness connector.
  2. Ensure shift lever is in "P" position. Connect DVOM to parking pin switch harness connector terminals "A" and "B". Push shift lever button. Continuity should exist. Release shift lever button. Continuity should not exist. If continuity is not as specified, replace parking pin switch. See PARKING PIN SWITCH  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
