Toe-In Adjustment: Front

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Acura 3.5RL. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Center steering wheel. Measure toe-in. See WHEEL ALIGNMENT SPECIFICATIONS  . If adjustment is necessary, go to next step.
  2. Loosen tie rod lock nuts. Adjust both the right and left wheels at the same time, by the same amount in opposite directions to obtain the correct toe-in and to keep the steering wheel straight. Tighten tie rod lock nuts while holding the tie-rod arm. Make sure the toe-in setting does not change. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Re-position tie rod boot if twisted or moved out of place.
