Save Error History when Replacing the Audio-Navigation Unit

When replacing the audio-navigation unit, a USB drive is included to save the error history (navigation DTCs) The USB drive comes loaded with a software program to automatically save the DTCs The USB drive must be returned with the defective audio-navigation unit

NOTE: Save the error history before replacing the audio-navigation unit
  1. Start the vehicle, and make sure the map screen is displayed
  2. Plug the included USB drive into the USB jack that is located in the armrest
    NOTE: The USB drive comes loaded with a script that saves the error history automatically
  3. When prompted, press the ENTER button to copy the error history

  4. Wait for the USB drive to copy the error history

  5. After the error history is copied, the instructions to remove the USB drive is displayed

  6. Replace the audio-navigation unit (see AUDIO-NAVIGATION UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
