Cruise Control Combination Switch Test

- Remove the driver's airbag (see DRIVER'S AIRBAG REPLACEMENT ).
- Disconnect the 20P connector from the cable reel.
- Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the table below.
- If there is continuity, and it matches the table, but the cruise control input test, indicated a faulty switch check and repair the wire harness on the switch circuit.
- If there is no continuity in one or more positions, replace the switch (see STEERING WHEEL DISASSEMBLY/REASSEMBLY ).
- Use a diode tester between the terminals according to the table below. If the diode fails the test, replace the switch (see STEERING WHEEL DISASSEMBLY/REASSEMBLY ).
