Motor Test

NOTE: SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations (see COMPONENT LOCATION INDEX ), and precautions and procedures (see PRECAUTIONS AND PROCEDURES ) before doing repairs or servicing.

Remove the front seat-back panel (see FRONT SEAT-BACK COVER REPLACEMENT ), then turn over the driver's seat-back cover/pad.
Disconnect the 2P connector (A) from the lumbar support motor (B).

Test the motor by applying battery power and body ground to the terminals.

If the motor does not run or fails to run smoothly, replace it (see FRONT SEAT LUMBAR SUPPORT REPLACEMENT ).
