PCM Reset(PGM-FI System): Procedure

  1. HDS - Connect

    		 1. Press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode, but do not start the engine.

    2. Connect the HDS to the DLC (A) located under the driver's side of the dashboard.

    3. Make sure the HDS communicates with the PCM and other vehicle systems. If it doesn't, go to the DLC circuit troubleshooting

  2. PCM - Reset
    1. Exit the HDS diagnostic system, then select the PGM-FI system with the HDS.

    2. Reset the PCM with the HDS while the engine is stopped.

    3. Press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode.

    4. Press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode, and wait 30 seconds.

    5. Press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode, and disconnect the HDS from the DLC.
