DTC B1280: Inspection

L_TURN_SW, R_TURN_SW Shorted Wire Inspection 

Test Procedure 

• Preparation
• 1. -

     Body control module connector E (24P): disconnected

  2. -

     Combination light switch 12P connector: disconnected

• Procedure
• 1. -

     Perform the inspection according to the following table.

			(Disconnected)Body control module connector E (24P) female terminals
		IG Mode	Courtesy of HONDA, U.S.A., INC.	Normal Conditions
	L_TURN_SW, R_TURN_SW shorted wire to wire inspection	OFF		There is more than 1 MOhm
	NOTE: Refer to the Open/Shorted Wire Inspection Description for the method to inspect the shorted circuit below, then start to inspect according to circumstances.
	L_TURN_SW shorted to ground inspection	OFF		Not shorted
	R_TURN_SW shorted to ground inspection	OFF		Not shorted

Results 

• If abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.

Body Control Module Inspection 

Test Procedure 

• If the other inspection item(s) indicated a normal condition, then it is determined that the remaining body control module is the cause.

Results 

• There is a problem with the body control module.
