DTC C0041-14 : Brake Switch Signal Circuit Error
How to use this service information .
NOTICE:
- Before you troubleshoot, review the How to Troubleshoot - Refer to: How to Troubleshoot the Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS) or How to Troubleshoot the Road Departure Mitigation or How to Troubleshoot the Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS) or How to Troubleshoot the Auto High-Beam (High-Beam Support System) or How to Troubleshoot the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) .
- Troubleshoot the following DTCs first, if stored at the same time.

- PGM-FI System [PGM-FI]: Go to the indicated DTCs troubleshooting - Refer to: Brake Booster Pressure Monitoring System DTC Troubleshooting Index or Fuel and Emissions Systems DTC Troubleshooting Index (2.0L Engine, USA/Canada models) (2024 2025) or Fuel and Emissions Systems DTC Troubleshooting Index (1.5L Engine, USA/Canada models) (2025) or Fuel and Emissions Systems DTC Troubleshooting Index (1.5L Engine, USA/Canada models) (2023 2024) .
NOTE:
- The specific conditions under which this DTC is recorded are as follows:

- Brake switch signal is ON, but brake fluid pressure does not rise when vehicle running.
- Brake switch signal is OFF, but brake fluid pressure rises when vehicle running.
- This vehicle obtains the brake operation information used for the control of the monocular camera driver support system from the PCM via the F-CAN.
- If the DTC is recorded again after problem verification, perform a troubleshooting for the PGM-FI system - Refer to: How to Troubleshoot the Fuel and Emissions Systems (1.5L Engine) or How to Troubleshoot the Brake Booster Pressure Monitoring System or How to Troubleshoot the Fuel and Emissions Systems (2.0L Engine) (2024 2025) or How to Troubleshoot the CVT System .
