NOTICE:
When working with a vehicle equipped with the electronic air suspension, be sure to set it to the leveling off mode to prevent unexpected operation. Refer to the Electronic Air Suspension System Service Precautions - Refer to: Electronic Air Suspension System Connector Fitting Precautions or Electronic Air Suspension System Service Precautions for the procedure.
- Engine Oil Level - Check
Preconditions
- Vehicle on Level Ground
- Engine Warmed Up
NOTE: Warm up the engine by raising the engine speed around 3, 000 rpm until the cooling fan(s) comes on.
Procedure/Specifications
1. Turn the engine off after warming it up and wait 3 minutes.
2. Remove the dipstick, and wipe off the dipstick, then reinstall the dipstick.
3. Remove the dipstick, and check the oil level.
Specifications
Position Specification a Upper Mark Engine oil level should be between (a) and (b). b Lower Mark Result
- If the oil level is near or below the lower mark, check for oil leaks, and add oil - Refer to: Engine Oil Level Check or Engine Oil Replacement(3.5L Engine) or Engine Oil Replacement(3.0L Engine) to bring it to the upper mark.
