Spring-Loaded Lock Connector
Some SRS connectors have a spring-loaded lock.
Driver's Airbag Connector/Side Curtain Airbag Connector/Front Seat Belt Tensioner Connector
Disconnecting/Connecting
Pull out on the locking tabs (f) to disconnect the connector (g). Be careful not to damage the connector.
Align the guide tab (h) of connector (i) to the connector cavity of the inflator, then connect. Be careful not to damage the connector.
Front Passenger's Airbag Connector/Knee Airbag Connector/Side Airbag Connector/Rear Side Airbag Connector
Disconnecting/Connecting
To release the lock, pull the spring-loaded sleeve (k) toward the stop (m) while holding the opposite half of the connector, then pull the connector halves apart. Be sure to pull on the sleeve and not on the connector.
To reconnect, hold both connector halves and press them firmly together until a click is heard. Do not touch sleeve (n).

Disconnecting/Connecting
- To release the lock, hold down the lock tab (o) and pull the CPA (p) to the stop position, then hold down the lock tab and pull the CPA again to disconnect the connector. Be careful not to damage the connector.
- To reconnect, push the connector firmly until a click is heard.
