Removal And Installation: BCM

REMOVAL 

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the passenger floor foot rest. Refer to FOOT REST, FLOOR, FRONT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

3. Disconnect the front electrical connections for the Body Computer.
4. Undo the fixing screws and release the Body Computer from the mounting bracket.

5. Disconnect the rear electrical connections for the Body Computer.
6. Remove the Body Computer from its housing.

INSTALLATION 

1. Connect the rear electrical connections.
2. Fit the Body Computer in its housing and tighten the fixing.
3. Connect the front electrical connections for the Body Computer.
4. Install the passenger floor foot rest. Refer to FOOT REST, FLOOR, FRONT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
5. Connect the negative battery cable.
6. If the same Body Computer that was removed is being refitted on the vehicle, use scan tool to check that the system has not acquired errors during the operation.
7. Check the operation of the electrical system.
