Removal And Installation

REMOVAL 

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Position the steering wheel in a centered position with the wheels straight.
3. Remove the steering wheel pod switches. Refer to SWITCH, SPEED CONTROL, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

4. Remove the trim cover (1b) retaining bolts (1a).
5. Remove the trim cover to gain access to the wiring (1c).

6. Remove the ignition push button switch with wiring (1a).

INSTALLATION 

1. Inspect the integrity of the switch before installation.

2. Position the switch and wiring (1a) to the housing.

3. Position the cover (1a) and arrange the wiring (1b) as shown in the illustration.
4. Tighten the cover screws (2a).
5. Install the steering wheel pod switches. Refer to SWITCH, SPEED CONTROL, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
6. Connect the negative battery cable.
