Fuel Pump Output

  1. Disconnect the fuel return line from the pressure regulator. Attach a length of fuel hose to the regulator with the other end in a graduated container.
  2. Attach a jumper wire between terminals 5 and 6 of diagnostic connector D1 to activate pump. The system should pump at least 1 pint of fuel in 30 seconds. If not, ensure that the fuel filter is not clogged. Check pump and regulator operation and electrical circuits.
