Engine Start-Up Mode

When the starter motor is engaged, the ECU receives input signals from the starter motor relay, wide open throttle switch, CTS (1.7L), MT (1.4L), and speed sensor. The fuel pump is activated by the ECU and voltage is applied to the injector, with the ECU controlling injection time.

The ECU determines proper ignition timing using speed sensor input. If wide open throttle switch is engaged, the ECU will deactivate the injector to prevent flooding.
