Steering System - Power: Overhaul: Notes
NOTE:
Overhaul of 5000S steering gear is not recommended. Leaking seals can be replaced if gear is removed. Check system output and pressure before removing steering gear.
On Coupe GT, 4000S and 4000S Quattro models, check output and system pressure before disassembling steering gear. Use all parts in Repair Kit (811 498 020 ) and use new self-locking nuts.
