Throttle Switches (CIS Motronic)

Idle switch and full throttle switch provide throttle position data to ECU. Throttle switches are located on throttle body. Idle switch is closed when throttle plates are closed and opens approximately one degree. Idle switch signal determines operation of idle stabilizer valve. Full throttle switch closes at about 10 degrees before full throttle. full throttle switch signal determines full throttle enrichment.
