Knock Sensor - Torque Specification Revised

Group: 28

Number: 93-02

Date: March 15, 1993

SUBJECT:
Knock Sensor Torque

MODEL(s):
90 w/Engine Code AAH
From 1993 m.y.

The knock sensor torque as specified on page 28-24 of the Audi 90 (B4) Repair Manual is incorrect.

The knock sensor torque on pages 01-49 and 01-54 of Repair Group 01 has been incorrectly converted into foot pounds.

The correct torque for all of these applications is: 20 Nm (15 ft lb)

CAUTION
The specified tightening torque is critical to the proper function of the knock sensors.

The Repair Manual will be corrected to reflect this change in the next update.
