Mass Airflow (MAF) Sensor

As a result of the fully adaptive oxygen sensor control, the CO adjustment potentiometer has been eliminated. A hot wire air mass sensor is used to measure airflow into engine. The sensor housing includes a baffle which reduces air turbulence and pulses. The sensor signal is used to calculate injection quantity, ignition timing, EGR operation and fuel tank ventilation.

NOTE: Closed Throttle Position (CTP) switch and Throttle Position (TP) sensor are located in a common housing on the bottom of the throttle housing.
