Power Window/Sun Roof Control Module

NOTE: Ensure driver's window switch is functioning properly. See WINDOW SWITCHES under COMPONENT TESTS.
  1. Turn ignition switch off. Remove control module from auxiliary relay panel, located behind left side kick panel. Measure voltage between ground and terminal No. 2 at relay socket "A". See Fig 1 . If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, repair wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS.
  2. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Measure voltage between ground and terminal No. 7 at relay socket "A". If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, repair wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS.
  3. Measure voltage between ground and terminal No. 1 at relay socket "A". If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, repair wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS.
  4. Check resistance between ground and terminal No. 5 at relay socket "B". Continuity should exist with driver's door open and should not exist with driver's door closed. If continuity is as specified, replace power window/sun roof control module. If continuity is not as specified, check door switch. If door switch is okay, repair wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS.
