Power Window/Sun Roof Control Module
NOTE:
Ensure driver's window switch is functioning properly. See WINDOW SWITCHES under COMPONENT TESTS.
- Turn ignition switch off. Remove control module from auxiliary relay panel, located behind left side kick panel. Measure voltage between ground and terminal No. 2 at relay socket "A". See Fig 1 . If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, repair wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS.
- Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Measure voltage between ground and terminal No. 7 at relay socket "A". If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, repair wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS.
- Measure voltage between ground and terminal No. 1 at relay socket "A". If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, repair wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS.
- Check resistance between ground and terminal No. 5 at relay socket "B". Continuity should exist with driver's door open and should not exist with driver's door closed. If continuity is as specified, replace power window/sun roof control module. If continuity is not as specified, check door switch. If door switch is okay, repair wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS.
