Control module versions (scan tool function 01), checking

• Connect VAS5051 tester or VAG1551 scan tool and select address word 03 "Brake Electronics". See VAG1551 SCAN TOOL (ST), CONNECTING AND ENTERING ADDRESS WORD  .
  NOTE: The following explanations refer to the use of the VAG1551 scan tool. A similar procedure is used for the VAS5051 tester for On Board Diagnostic.
• Advance through program sequence by pressing --> button.

• Press buttons -0- and -1- to select "Check Control Module Version" 01. Press -Q- button to confirm input.
