Function Mode 01: Checking Control Module Versions

NOTE: Step 1) applies to central locking and anti-theft system. For ultrasonic interior monitoring for anti-theft system, go to step 2).
  1. Press 0 then 1 (01). Display shows RAPID DATA TRANSFER Q 01-CHECK CONTROL MODULE VERSIONS. Press "Q" key to confirm input. If vehicle does not have anti-theft alarm 4B0962258D CENTRAL LOCKING, DWA DXX CODING 4672 WSC 06812 should be displayed. If vehicle has anti-theft 4B0962258E CENTRAL LOCKING, DWA DXX CODING 4682 WSC 06812 should be displayed. 4B0962258 (D or E) indicates part number of central locking control module. CENTRAL LOCKING, DWA indicates central locking, anti-theft system; component identification and version. DXX indicates software version. CODING 4672 indicates coding for control module. WSC 06812 indicates dealership number (example). Press right arrow key return to select function display. This completes procedure for central locking system.
  2. Press 0 then 1 (01). Display shows RAPID DATA TRANSFER Q 01-CHECK CONTROL MODULE VERSIONS. Press "Q" key to confirm input. 4B0951173 INTERIOR MONITORING, DXX CODING 00001 (sedan) or 00002 (station wagon) WSC 06812 should be displayed. 4B0951173 indicates part number of central locking control module. INTERIOR MONITORING indicates ultrasonic interior monitoring system; component identification and version. DXX indicates software version. CODING 00001 (sedan) or 00002 (station wagon) indicates coding for control module. WSC 06812 indicates dealership number (example). Press right arrow key return to select function display.
