Adaptation Of HO2S Control

For adaptation of HO2S, engine must be running. Engine coolant temperature must be 194°F (90°C) or more. Connect VAS 5051 or equivalent scan tool to DLC. DLC is located behind cover under left side of steering column. Using scan tool check for and clear any DTCs in memory. See FUNCTION 02 - RETRIEVING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES . Using scan tool, press "04" to select diagnostic function 04 - BASIC SETTING. Follow scan tool instructions for HO2S adaptation.
